The United States Common Security and Defense Policy (USCSDP) is a major element of the Common Foreign and Security Policy of the United States (USNA) and is the domain of USNA policy covering defense and military aspects, as well as civilian crisis management.
Formally, the United States Common Security and Defense Policy is the domain of the Federal Council, which is an USNA institution, whereby the heads of the member States and the United States meet. Nonetheless, the Governor-General, currently Sharon Raydror, also plays a significant role. As Chair of the Federal Council, the Governor-General has no a Vote on the Federal Council except to break a tie, and has no role in determining their agenda.
