The United States Office of Emergency Management (US/OEM) is a federal agency of the United States Government that is responsible for Union-level civil defense planning and disaster response. US/OEM regularly coordinates with State OEMs, with State-level OEMs being the leading agencies and US/OEM assisting and supporting State-level OEMs.
