Exchange rate[edit | edit source]
The exchange rate of the piastre against other currencies in Kobol is dependent on the monetary policy pursued by Vale. The piastre is based on the energy standard, which is a monetary system where the standard economic unit of account is based on a fixed quantity of energy, whereas the piastre is equivalent as of June 1714 to 14.53 kWh of electricity.
