Capitol Park is a Federal public park in Fœderal Capital Territory’s Capitol Hill Historic District on the east side of the County of Republic City, Fœderal Capital Territory. Set between Union and Confederation Streets and 19th and 16th Avenues, the area of what would become Capitol Park had previously served as the site of the Lone Mountain Campus of the University of San Francisco when the region was part of what used to be the City and County of San Francisco, before the Territory of California ceded what would become the FCT to the United States.

Capitol Park was listed on the All-Union Register of Historic Places in 1731. Responsibility for managing and maintaining Capitol Park lies with the All-Union Capitol Commission, whereas security and public safety services for the Park are provided by United States Capitol Police.
