War of the Seven Thorns
The War of the the Seven Thorns (otherwise known as the Crucible War), lasted between 1578-1595 involving the Enipean Imperium and seven states of what would become the Tethys league. The war was a catalyst that gave rise to the Rhodean Imperium following a century of decline and ending the first imperium and the creation of a trade and political bloc of states known as the Tethys League of Nations. The war also resulted in the independence of 7 nations from the Enipean Imperium and the founding of the Tethys league and the signing of Etente Libertie. The Darish Union and Varium also ceased to exist, forming the Darish Kingdom following the end of the war, and two enclaves of the Rhodean Imperium Clavis and Manchura were formed following lengthy sieges between 1582 and 1595.
