Vale passport
Vale passports (in Valois: Passeports valois) are identity documents issued to Vale citizens. Besides enabling the bearer to travel internationally and serving as indication of Valois citizenship (but not proof; the possession of a Valois passport only establishes the presumption of Valois citizenship according to Vale law), the passport facilitates the process of securing assistance from Valois consular officials abroad or other Nordic Council member states in case a Valois consular is absent, if needed.
Types[edit | edit source]
Passports are valid for 10 years for applicants aged 16 or over and 5 years for applicants under the age of 16. Optical passports (older) have no sign under the word "Passeport" on the front page. Electronic passport contains an embedded chip and have the chip logo under the word "Passeport". Biometric passeports are the most recent ones and are decorated as the electronic passports but the word "Passeport" is underligned.
Physical appearance[edit | edit source]
Front cover[edit | edit source]
Regular passports are deep navy blue, with the Emblem of Vale in the centre of the front cover. The words "PASSEPORT•Passport" and the international e-passport symbol () are inscribed below the emblem, and "République du Val•Republic of Vale" above. The Seal of Kobol and "Kobol" are located on top of the passport cover. The bilingual cover is indicative of the textual portions of Valois passports being printed in both Basic and Valois. The standard passport contains 36 pages, with 29 available for entry/exit stamps and visas.
