The Kentucky Federal & Commonwealth Office (“K-FCO”) is the combined intergovernmental affairs, general and state affairs, elections, archives, notary, and records, and consular services ministry for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Headed by the Kentucky Secretary of State for Federal and Commonwealth Affairs, the FCO is considered the most-senior of the various Cabinet-level Departments, second only to the Kentucky Office of Governor. The Federal-level counterpart to the Kentucky Federal & Commonwealth Office is the United States Department of State & Foreign Affairs.
