Council of the Federation (Russia)
The Council of the Federation (Russian: Совет Федерации), also known as the "Government of the Russian Democratic Federative Republic" (Russian: Правительство Российской Демократической Федеративной Республики), exercise the Federal executive Power in the Russian Democratic Federative Republic. The members of the Council are the President of Russia, who is also the Chairman of the Council, lieutenant presidents and the Heads of Federal ministries and Federal agencies with ministry-level status. It was authorized by the Constitution for the Russian Democratic Federative Republic and formally established and organized by the Federal law "On the Government of the Russian Democratic Federative Republic".
