Tazaea was a stone-age kingdom that existed in south-eastern continent of Metis, some 120,000-90,000BC. Considered the cradle of human civilization and the first kingdom, it spread as far west as the Drogo lakes and had a sizable eastern coastal capital. Scholars believe that Tazaea was the most populous area of ancient man, due to the sheer amount of primitive tools found in the area, compared to other areas of Metis. The lack of a land bridge joining Metis to Inachus, coupled with the lack of sailing technologies likely explains the lack of migration out of Metis before 90,000 BC. All lineages on Aeon can trace their ancestry to the Tazaean exodus of Metis during The Sundering.

Tazaea was completely destroyed approximately 90,000BC during a cataclysmic supervolcanic eruption. Very little is known about Tazaea or its people.
