§ 13-2324. Treason
- A Person commits treason against this State by any of the following:
- Levying war against this State;—Or
- In adhering to enemies of this State, giving them aid and comfort.
- Treason is a class 1 felony. The punishment for treason shall be death, or a term of imprisonment equal to the natural life of the person convicted of treason.
- Aiding and abetting the commission of treason is a class 1 felony. The punishment for aiding and abetting the commission of treason shall be a term of imprisonment equal to the natural life of the person convicted of aiding and abetting the commission of treason.
- Persons convicted under subsections (B) or (C) of this section, shall not be eligible for pardon or parole.
- No Person shall be convicted under this section unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.
