Guangdong (Zhonghuanese 广东; pinyin: Guǎngdōng) is a province of Zhonghua. It is located on the southern coast. It is Zhonghua's second most populous Province at 101 Million after Shandong.
The capital Shenzhen and the economic centre of Kowloon are amongst the most populous and important cities in Zhonghua, with Shenzhen being the second most populous city with nearly 15 million people. Guangdong is home to home of the most prosperous metropolitan regions on Kobol, the Pearl River Delta which is home to more than 100 million people, it covers about 20,000 km² of Guangdong, about 5.5% of the total area but is home to 75% of the provinces population and generates 72% of the GDP.
Since 1770 Guangdong has had the second largest total GDP rankings among all provincial-level divisions, with Shandong first in rank. According to provincial annual preliminary statistics, Guangdong's GDP in 1810 reached RMB 4,510 billion, or USD 670.7 billion, making its economy roughly the same size as that of ?? or ???. Guangdong has the third highest GDP per capita among all provinces of mainland Zhonghua, after ??? and ???. The province contributes approximately 1?% of the DRZs national economic output, and is home to the production facilities and offices of a wide-ranging set of multinational and Zhonghuanese corporations. Guangdong also borders the Municipality of Shijiazhuang, a major economic and political centre.
