Protocol[edit | edit source]
At State functions the Arizona flag is in the place of honor, that is to say that it is to the left (from the viewer) of all other flags, or in the middle and tallest. At Union (Federal) functions, such as a press event involving the Governor-General of the United States in Arizona, the Federal flag is given the place of honor. At all other functions and events, the rules for State functions govern the use of the State flag.
